Aggressive Dog Policy Banner

The Friends of Schuylkill River Park (FSRP) Dog Owners' Association will do everything within its power to maintain a safe and welcoming Dog Run.. An aggressive dog policy was drafted by another dog park and adapted to our needs. It's purpose is to promote safety for all users. As we are not police, this policy will serve merely as a guideline. We will keep copies of all filed reports and will take appropriate actions when necessary, but cannot be held responsible for the behavior of any dog using the Run. We encourage our members and all users of the Run to report any incidents that occur to us (at Info@PhillyFido.net), and if necessary, the authorities

An aggressive dog is defined as a dog who engages in threatening or violent behavior towards other dogs or towards humans. If an incident occurs within the Dog Run, it will be the responsibility of the dog owner and/or witnesses to report the incident. If your dog has had a continuing problem or single major occurrence with an aggressive dog, please file a report to Phillyfido.net or Dog Owners Association, P.O. Box 30246, Philadelphia PA 19103. List details and names of any witnesses. If we see a pattern involving a single dog, we will follow the same policy that has been successful for Seger Dog Run (as spelled out below). Depending on the severity of the incident, the following actions may be taken:

Severe incidents should be reported to the authorities immediately.
